Cheshire Cat

So lately I've been contemplating what I want to do for Halloween and I was surfing the wonderful world of Deviantart.com yesterday and found this AMAZING scoodie by Archaical.  The crafting and colours of it is awesome and it has inspired me to do something similar for Halloween, thanks so much for your awesomeness Archaical ^^

Nature's Beauty

So today I got to go to Falling Waters State Park over in Chipley and it was absolutely stunning.  The nature there was by far unmatched to most other parks I've been to, and while the Waterfall Sinkhole was slightly scary I thoroughly enjoyed walking through all of the woods and such.  It was an excellent way to spend the day. :)

The House of the Sprites

Okay, so my list kinda got put on hold for the moment because my mom has finally agreed to let me build a greenhouse. I'm so excited. Most of the wood from the spot where I'm going to build it on is moved and burn and the plans are all drawn out. Got some amazing fabric for a bench cushion and some green for a few pillows on the days I just wanna sit at the back of my greenhouse and read :) so excited to finish with moving the wood and start constuction.

The Pencil Roll is nearing completion and I hope to post a couple of pictures of it soon. Until then Farefarren All!

Embracing The Wolf In Me

One day I was sitting at my computer, reading native american folk tales, and I came across one where a Grandfather was teaching his grandson about life, and he said basically this:
"We all have two wolves fighting for our heart, one as white as the winter snow, the other as black as the darkest night.  One is that of love, full of kindness, caring and compassion, and the other hatred, filled with malice, anger and cruelty.  And which one wins, might you ask? The one you feed the most"
It made me start thinking about the animals we all carry inside us; that one particular animal in which we all feel a special connection to.  For me it's wolves. Their beauty and grace, their love, loyalty and gentleness, all are things that make them an animal I truly admire above all others.
I decided to start surrounding me with wolves, to always carry something to keep that constant remembrance that my wolf is right there beside me, taking the steps I take down the road of life, always with me, always watching me.

Seven Little Memories

SEVEN LITTLE MEMORIES

Seven little things,
all left untouched by me.
The golden little pocket watch,
counting away the future that will never be,
The little silver hourglass,
holding the past in its sand.
The little rattle of a child,
never to be held in its delicate hand.
The small comb,
that brushed away a beauty long gone.
The little ring,
that gave away his promise long ago.
The little round mirror,
never again to reflect its owner's face.
And last the little book,
whose words are memories best left forgotten.
Seven little things,
shunned by all
and cherished by one.
Seven little things,
reminders of what was what is,
and what will never bbe,
Seven little things,
to be washed away by the sea.

Just an old poem that I had written a long time ago, that seemed to fit with my favorite picture that I had taken yesterday. Hope you all enjoy it
